The room was cramped with a tricky door, yet I enjoyed the beautiful scenery outside.

Waking up to views overlooking the Glaslyn valley made mornings extraordinary. The design of the common areas provided a cozy vibe, great for relaxing after a day of trekking.

The room felt cramped with no proper table for the kettle, leading to an awkward setup on the bedside. Wi-Fi connection proved unreliable, complicating plans, while the absence of a TV in the room limited entertainment options. It took an exceptionally long time for breakfast to arrive on a couple of occasions, particularly when you just want to fuel up for the day ahead. Lastly, the road leading to the hotel was unreasonably narrow, making the drive feel risky at night.

At this mountain retreat, the superior double room offered delightful vistas, while the breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious bread toasts and a range of hot and cold options. The owners were genuinely warm and exceeded expectations with their attentiveness. While the scenic walk into the nearby village was enjoyable, the steep driveway proved challenging after a long day exploring the area.

I loved how the cozy room was perfectly warm and inviting, especially after our long walks in the rain, and the delicious dinner at the small restaurant really hit the spot! There’s a great lounge area with comfy seating and a lovely little library, perfect for chilling out. If there’s one tiny thing, the bathroom light’s extractor fan ran a bit too long for my liking, but the soft, refreshing water made it all worth it. 😊

The breakfast was fantastic (lots of choice! ) and served with a smile. The communal area was cozy, perfect for unwinding with a drink while enjoying the views from the conservatory. the location in Snowdon National Park is simply stunning.
